Baltimore is an internationally known as one of "the coolest city on the East Coast," (Evening Standard, 2018). In the same year, Forbes named Baltimore as one of the ten coolest US cities to visit.

And Baltimore Magazine published "The Best of Baltimore" 2023 readers' poll results – for all manner of daily, household, and entertainment needs.

Did you know many museums in Baltimore are free? For a constantly updated view of what's going on culturally in the metropolitan area, check out this site provided by the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance. You can search by theme (art, theater, music, etc.) or by date. They also tell you what's free, AND the site often provides access to discounted tickets.
